He was a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who initially gained popularity as a writer and voice actor on the Netflix animated comedy "Big Mouth." He was 28.
In a statement released on Saturday, his family acknowledged his passing. A cause was not given in the statement.

He had been performing since March on the Peacock series "Bust Down," a comedy about a bunch of pals working at a casino in Indiana that he also helped create, alongside his colleagues comedians Chris Redd, Sam Jay, and Langston Kerman.
He was a writer and executive producer for the HBO chat show "Pause With Sam Jay," for which he was nominated this year for a Writers Guild of America award.
The popular coming-of-age animated sitcom "Big Mouth," on which Mr. Knight voiced the recurrent role DeVon, a middle school friend of the show's main characters, from 2017 to 2021.
He contributed to the ABC comedy "Black-ish" in 2019 and 2020.In the inaugural season of the Netflix comedy series "The Comedy Lineup" in 2018.
Jason Zinoman of The New York Times complimented the show for its "effort to provide a platform to comics who are not household names."
Even though Mr. Knight may not have been well-known, by the time he made an appearance on "The Comedy Lineup," he had gained a lot of attention.
At the 2015 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, he was recognised as a New Face and a 2014 Comedy Central "Comic to Watch.
Comedians to Watch," which stated, "Knight brings so much excitement and energy to the stage, he might not even need to be hilarious – of course he is."
He served as the opening act for notable stand-up comedians Dave Chappelle, Joel McHale, Eric Andre, Moshe Kasher, Hannibal Buress, and others.
Chappelle were "one hundred percent" the reasons he did what he did.
Seattle native Mr. Knight started performing stand-up comedy when he was a teenager. There was no direct access to survivor biographies or other details.
Social media users paid Mr. Knight honours as word of his passing spread.
When Mr. Knight was in the audience, according to comic James Adomian, he always knew it would be a "wildly funny night."
He was succeeding brilliantly, according to Mr. Adomian, and it was all well deserved because he was funny and memorable both on and off stage.
