Sarfaraz Ahmed was an active captain, but Babar Azam is not," said Shadab
  1. Pakistani leg-spinner Shadab Khan contrasted the captaincy styles of Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed. Fresh party cricket emerged when Sarfraz was in charge in all three formats.


 However, a few months after the 2019 World Cup, Sarfraz lost his international captaincy. They are playing under the leadership of Babar.

Shadab said that Babar is not one to over-express himself on the field. The Young Turk said that Babar had settled into the role of captain over time.



 Sarfraz said in Shadab that the veterans continued to feel about themselves by being active.



Shadab said that Sarfaraz was an active captain on the field while Babar Azam does not reflect his emotions much and remains calm. He said that in the initial period of captaincy, Babar was on the spot but now he will be fine.



Shadab also expressed his desire to play Test cricket for Pakistan, as it is not easy for him to join the pure format team.

Although I would like to play Test cricket, I don't believe I can now make the Test team.

 There is nothing more attractive than playing Test cricket for your country in the premium format of the game,” he added.


A versatile cricketer is great for a T20 setup. Pakistan has been lucky with this. Shadab Khan is a player who can be relied upon to change the dimension of a match with the bat or the ball.



Moreover, he is only 23 years old and has captaincy experience from franchise leagues. A key name in the Pakistan squad.


With the limited-overs all-important from Pakistan, he is sure to be the team's next big assignment after Australia's 2022 T20 World Cup and the Asia Cup.
