Hackers Place flag of Pakistan on Indian embassy website

On Egypt's Independence Day, hackers from Kashmir broke into the Indian Embassy's website.

According to reports, website hacking by Kashmir Freedom Fighters was a protest.

The Pakistani flag was added by the hackers to the website.

"We are hackers from IoK, we love Pakistan, we do not forgive, we do not forget, expect us," they wrote on the website.

Since the partition, India has killed tens of thousands of people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, also known as an open-air prison, and is still imprisoning a number of others on false charges.

The special status of Kashmir under Article 370 was revoked by the Narendra Modi-led government on August 5, 2019, which led to frequent valley-wide shutdowns and worsened conditions for Kashmiris.

The website of the Indian Embassy was hacked by hackers from Indian Occupied Kashmir, who replaced the Indian flag with the flag of Pakistan. On August 15, India's Independence Day, the incident took place.

On the website, the hackers posted a message. We are hackers from IoK, we love Pakistan, we don't forget or forgive, so expect us, the message said. 

The occurrence took place in Egypt. The website hacking at the embassy is allegedly the work of the Kashmir Freedom Fighters. As a form of protest against the Indian government, the website was hacked.

On Monday, IIOJK residents protested on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day. On this particular day, the valley experienced a black day. 

There was a protest planned, and those who took part waved black flags and wore black armbands. Protesters carried signs with anti-Indian messages.

Speakers at the event argued that India lacks the moral justification to celebrate Independence Day while restricting Kashmiri citizens' freedoms.

They continued, "The military siege and curfew in IIOJK are evidence that the people of Kashmir have no connection to India and demand their right to self-determination.

They claimed that raising the Indian flag at each home while hiding from the gun was a cowardly gesture. 

Protesters claimed that by outright rejecting India's brutal actions on August 5, 2019, and India's Independence Day on August 15, the people of Kashmir have declared a referendum against it.

They have urged the UN Security Council to hold a free and impartial referendum in accordance with the UN resolution to settle the Kashmir dispute.

The Indian flag will be placed beneath the feet of Kashmiri citizens in Azad Kashmir, according to protesters, if the Indian government does not put an end to the campaign in IIOJK.
